Downtown or the lake and woodland surroundings?
Downtown is practical for shops and walking to dinner. Along Avenida Bustillo, look for Nahuel Huapi views and different distances from town. The Cerro Campanario, Circuito Chico and Llao Llao areas suit a trip centred on scenery, with transport planned in advance. An area alone does not guarantee privacy or a view: check the exact unit and location.
Look beyond the word hydromassage
Ask whether the bath is in your cabin bathroom or a shared space, whether it is for one person or two, and whether your chosen unit includes it. A general property photograph does not prove that all units have the same equipment. A view or a fireplace can be just as central to a romantic break; decide what matters most to you.
A honeymoon in low season
Travelling outside the busiest periods may broaden your options, but conditions vary by property and date. Ask if a larger cabin can be booked by two guests: it might offer the space or equipment you want. Confirm the couple's rate, cancellation terms and available services. Flowers, chocolates, dinner or breakfast should only be treated as included when the property explicitly confirms them.
